Russian River ValleyMacIntyre Estate Vineyard

This ten acre parcel, formerly an apple orchard, sits in classic Goldridge soil with a top layer of “moondust,” extremely sandy soils with very low water-holding capacity and very little clay. This cool, undulating site produces intense wines that are long on the palate with flavors of great clarity. We developed this land a bit differently than the upper estate, high density but with slightly wider rows than our other parcels. We chose our favorite clonal selections of Pinot Noir from our estate, grafted those in the nursery, and finished planting in 2017.
