2026 Summer Release

 2026 Summer Release

“These are wines that have a little bit more spring to them, a little bit more bounce, a little bit more sunshine and summery character... the quality is very, very high.” - Chief Winemaker & Proprietor Andy Smith

We think of the Summer Release as "Andy's favorites." They're wines that didn't necessarily need to be made: a variety rarely grown in the Sonoma Coast. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from small estate parcels. Zinfandel from 100-year-old vines that played a key role in Andy's winemaking history.

But these wines deserve to be made. Distinct, small-production, and wines that get even better the day after you pull the cork.

2024 Sonoma Coast Chenin Blanc
This wine is treated with an unusual level of seriousness and care for Chenin Blanc in California. The vines are in the very best part of the vineyard and aged an extended 18 months on lees, giving it far more texture and depth than typical expressions.

* Fresh, savory profile with mint, spearmint, and herbal notes
* Develops into waxy apple and apricot richness with bright, persistent acidity

2024 Bressay Estate Vineyard Chardonnay

What sets this wine apart is its distinctly non-California style. It's crafted to emphasize precision, structure, and site expression rather than richness, with minimal oak influence despite extended aging.

* Focused citrus and apple flavors with subtle herbal complexity
* Balanced texture with gentle richness and a smooth, refined finish

2024 Bressay Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir
This wine is defined by its mid-slope vineyard position and whole-cluster fermentation, creating a uniquely balanced Pinot that combines elegance, aromatic lift, and structural complexity.

* Bright red and blue/black fruit with lifted aromatics
* Spiced notes of blood orange and Campari with layered complexity

2024 Brandlin Vineyard Old Vine Zinfandel
This wine comes from a 100-year-old field blend, producing a singular expression that brings multiple varieties together into a deeply characterful, mountain-grown wine.

* Juicy wild berry fruit with peppery, briary spice
* Structured and powerful yet vibrant, with aromatic lift reminiscent of Pinot and Syrah (note the Burgundy-shaped bottle rather than the traditional Bordeaux shape commonly used for Zinfandel)
