Winemaker’s Notes

This is a very special wine that displays the rare build and complexity of the greatest vineyards. It's the most elegant expression of DuMOL Estate Vineyard since the delicious 2014, brimming with succulent, generous fruits and savory nuances. Its aromatic range and the balance between concentration and delicacy are very hard to achieve, but this wine manages it with apparent ease. 

The DuMOL Estate Vineyard is our original high-density vine planting from 2004. It's organically farmed without irrigation – these vines work hard each season. We make a strict selection for this bottling, one of our flagship wines, so that only three of its nine total acres make the cut. The new 2024 vintage is a real classic. 

Enticing, rising aromatics and deep, intense flavors: wild raspberry, hibiscus, pomegranate, cranberry, pine needle, orange bitters, and lilac. Immediate generosity and breadth, with wonderful fruit purity and vibrancy throughout. Deep, broad tannins and coastal acidity bring length and energy to the finish. The wine continues to evolve as its flavors unwind. A beauty. Drink between late 2026 and 2040.
