Spring Release Sonoma Coast Rosé of Pinot Noir
2024

Winemaker’s Notes

Our 2024 Pinot Noir Rosé has far greater intensity and concentration than normal for this style and in many ways drinks more like a DuMOL Chardonnay than a simple fruity pink wine. There’s significant detail to its range of aromatic, flavor, and structural elements, and it comes from older vineyards that we farm to low yields and dynamic flavor-packed grapes. The wine is superb on any level – fresh, zesty, and tangy alongside richer oily textured notes. Drink it this summer and fall.

Beautiful pale salmon color. The wine’s aromas are piercingly intense with grapefruit, fresh strawberry, and candied ginger notes alongside spearmint and orange zest. The palate is full of red summer berry and citrus tones with lively watermelon elements and vibrant tangy acidity. The deep oily texture and natural richness show how seriously we treat this wine in both vineyard and cellar.
